It's been a lot of doubles uploaded recently. We need to wipe away all of them.
I hope someone else thinks about the consequences......
how about deducting points from double uploaders. every time someone reports an image to be a double, the user that uploaded that double gets 1 point taken away for uploading that double. and the same thing could go with violating the TOS rules
That's the way it is now. & it doesn't work. Must have larger penalty for uploading double than reward for uploading pic. Or I could just upload doubles knowing the worst that could happen is I lose the point if some one bothers to take the time to report it. If no one reports I score 1 point.

But I now find from calculations that all my star points come from one pointers This seems to make it more unreasonable for referrals. Why should they get so many. Remember if you get 3 points you also loose 3 points if it is deleted by Sam. I agree too the idea that doubles, fakes and images that need to be censored should get 5 points . That would help clean it up. At least one member has told me they have been banned from a few sites for their refferals. The still get the point cause they got the views before they were banned.

Not 10 points for being a pest. You get banned from other sites for being a pest. 10 points for bringing new potential members($$$ for site). See the difference. Ask anyone that links regularly. It's difficult to find sites that allow linking. The kind of lazy person that uploads doubles rather than checking folders first is the same kind of person to lazy to search for sites that they can link to. Makes no sense to me to reward people for being to lazy to do the work. As for finding pics to link there is certainly no shortage of images to link at this or any other site. Quite frankly that's a lazy argument.
You know what is so funny . How many new members are brought in if the link is deleted from the linked site. If it got 5 views before it was deleted you get 10 points. Hmmm Maybe 5 new members may be not. I know their are those that link on sites that are ok. But I beleive most of the linkers are doing it not to bring in new people. But for the star points. You are fighting my asking fr more points for ALL uploaders because you do't want the 10 to 1 advantage. Like I said in the othewr tread anyone that thinks star point or any other catagory is not a compition at the top. Is just lying to themselves.
Don't try to trump up these false ideas. See what I am saying. 2or 3 points for picture uploades, 3 or 5 points for reported images and 10 points for referrals is this not fair?
It took me 2 years to get 25,000 points. One point at a time. Is that lazy as one member suggests? How long will it take for a person to get 25,000 points just linking. I would say 8 months.
Again I say when you think about this don't think about mine and Carey's upload numbers but all members. This is not a benefit to just Carey and I. But for all members in this compotition. And it is a compotition. No matter what some think.
One other point under my sytem linkers would link more. Thus bringing in more members. With uploaders moved up in rank. linkers would put up more links to catch up with us. I really dont think for the linklers they do it to get more members. Yes, Sam does it like he does to get more members.
