beyond the current discussions I think it can be useful to give some hints how to behave on other sites what can avoid the risk of being banned. I've made my experience with linking pics on other sites, so here are three important points to make it intelligently:
1. don't link more than 10 pics at the same time in one post for one woman! why not? non-members can only view 10 pics, then there comes the message to sign up. a user who comes to this site over a link should sign up because he/she is interested in this site. he shouldn't get the feeling to be forced to do it. so less is more!
2. don't link censored pics or pics of folders which are marked as adult! why not? non-members can't view such pics. I think everybody here knows how it is annoying to follow a thumb link and not to find the pic but only a message to sign up. so don't do such things you also don't like!
3. don't use other sites only as host for the pics you link from this site! why not? do you remember the ´´members`` who have spammed our forum with crap but have done nothing else? that has been annoying, or not? maybe now you understand why some other sites don't like us when you only come to them to post pics from here but don't do nothing else. I think it isn't expect too much to show at least a bit interest in such sites you use for your links. I mean make the same like here and discuss with the other members there in their forum. when possible post also some pics from other hosts. so show respect for them, that's fair!
when you have questions, other suggestions or critical annotations, please post. of course that's only my point of view.
p.s. in the last months I haven't linked any pics from here because I only have focused on this site. what I've written is the truth. I tried to spend time on these sites I've linked pics. as I noticed it takes too much of my time I stopped also to link pics there.
and only one more point. yes of course I've also linked pics to get the points like I've uploaded a lot of pics here for 10 months. I have no problems with that because I've done much for this site in the last time.

If a celebrity has her own thread on the site you're posting the links. Don't write 2(or more) post after eachother with 10 linked pics in each post (then it will be like posting 20 links in the same post). Let some other members do some postings between.
And as huhn wrote in tip 3 Interact with the other members and post some comments. Don't just post your links or thumbnails. You will look like an asshole.
Think about their point of view. What do you think of a newcomer that spams with topics here on lazygirls and just writes down a url.
If you just posts links, many members on the site will ignore you and you will not get the 5 clicks that's needed for any starpoints.
Gonna add something else aswell:
4. Browse the sites archives and check if the picture you are going to link is already posted on the site or not.

You know how we react on doubles. You're putting them in the same situation.
If the thread is juge and you don't have the time looking through it. Excuse yourself coz the pics you added may have already been posted. (This is not recommended for newcomers to a site, need to look serious for some weeks or months first)
Otherwise it will look like you don't care at all. As long as you can post you links, your happy. That's not the impression you want.
A tip is to post new candids and magazine shoots at first. The reaction gonna be good and they see LG.info as a nice site with all the new pics of their fave celebs.
5. Have some patience. Linking isn't a cocktail party as some members here on the forum thinks.
Don't post thread after thread just coz you latest linked pics haven't got their 5 clicks yet. It's enough with 1 or 2 post with links each day (depends on how much other members are posting). Meanwhile you can add comments on other members post or talk about something else on the site. Sometimes you will not be able to link for a few days (or more) but then you'll have a change to check what kind of celebrity pictures that have been posted so far.
another tip. You don't always have to link 10 pics. The links will recieve 5 clicks faster if there's maybe 4-5 pics posted.....
And don't post simular candids. The thumbs will look almost the same and ppl will only check one of the linked pics.

Remember to read the sites rules. Some sites only accept something like 3links/post. Don't go breaking the rules the first thing you do!!!
I will refresh this thread now and again with a short post. so interested members can read the hints when they are going to link pics in the next time.

One thing that is a negative for the referrel program. The zoom feature makes it impossible for a guest to download that picture. If I was on another site looking at photo from here. I would ask myself is this site worth coming too. Remember they have no idea that they have to be members to get past this feature.

I think Sam needs to make the zoom feature turned off by default.
Non members should be able to save images.
