Brett, this thread shouldn't be used to make advertising. every member can decide itself to pay the 95c or not and money can never supersede a creative mind. on every site the administrator should be made out as such one and we are thinking about that. |

I'm not advertising. I have nothing to gain. Just my opinion. If you really want to thank him for his efforts, pay him. It's less than the price of a cup of coffee. I'm sure he appreciates the praise you all are giving, but to make a special icon for himself is more work & still doesn't pay the bills. He gives his devoted members the equivilant of .95c a month with a free membership. Why not show him the same appreciation? No offense huhn, but I think my suggestion is the best way to show thanks for sams efforts.

thanks for all the great praise! I wasn't expecting any of it. As for an 11th star or a special icon for me, I rather just look like a normal user so I don't get a bunch of people sending me special requests.  |

I Like the crown idea even better than the 11 star. I really don't see what your point has to do with what we are talking about here Brett. Paying is always a good idea to keep up the site. But were does that show up. Other than $ or $$ beside someone elses name other tha Sam. WE are talking about Sam giving himself some type of distinction. Not only for what he has and is doing for this site. But, also to show that he is the administrator. And is the one to go to with most problems. When I first came here I thought Rhino was an administator or moderator. I am sure that their are a lot of people who come that are not sure at first. |
