well you can't really blame her for not coming back then. wrestling wise, she went out the best possible way. retaining her belt, at a ppv, in her home town, a winner. it can't get much better than that |

Actually the Rock did do that from the time when Brock Lesnar beat him for the WWE title till his last match at Wrestlemania 20. He would wrestle for a few months between movies. |
